STIHL manufactures more than 70 different saw chain types in Switzerland – more specifically in Wil and Bronschhofen – which are exported to over 160 countries. The company’s Swiss plants also produce around 30 different hedge trimmer blades. Automated and digital quality controls take place along the entire value chain, reflecting our deep commitment to our quality promise. What’s more, the special machines used to produce our saw chains are also developed in-house, by us. Our extensive saw chain production expertise is simply second to none.

The STIHL Vertriebs AG in Mönchaltorf was founded in 1996 and is responsible for the distribution of the STIHL brand in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The products are sold exclusively through specialist service dealers. The STIHL sales center supplies these specialist dealers and supports them with numerous services.
